Inspection Technician II – Onsite

Job Summary:

The Repair Station Inspector physically inspects aircraft components, and reviews paperwork to ensure that workmanship meets acceptable standards and quality, customer requirements have been met, and components are returned to service in an airworthy condition with all required documentation accurately completed and filed.

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform both final & receiving inspection on components and piece parts.
Must be thoroughly familiar with customer and regulatory requirements to determine airworthiness of the product on which maintenance, preventive maintenance have been done.
Report any problems, issues, or concerns to the Quality Control Supervisor or Quality Manager.
Enter turn-backs when hardware or paperwork issues are identified.
Ensuring they have been properly trained and have met the minimum requirements and earn the appropriate stamps.
Maintain proficiency through training requirements.
Ensuring non-conforming product is handled properly.

Basic Qualifications:

HS diploma with a minimum of 1.5 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required
A minimum of 18 months experience in Aerospace
Repairman Certificate must be obtained within six months after hire.
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications:

FAA A&P Certificate desired but not required.
Repairman Certificate must be obtained within six months after hire.
Proficient in reading and interpretation of technical data and quality procedures.
Strong computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
