Position Role Type:

We are looking for an Industrial Engineer to join our team! This position interfaces with senior leadership, program management, technical experts, and functional leadership to drive performance improvements. Main areas of focus will be conducting studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, lead time reduction, and production record systems.  This position provides direct shop floor support including capacity planning, variation analyses, productivity improvements and cell design.

Primary Responsibilities

Utilize lean tools and methodology to drive performance improvements and minimize waste within manufacturing processes
Work cross functionally to achieve success and support site level improvements targets and macro plan milestones
Collaborate vertically and horizontally across the business to increase throughput, decrease days to manufacture and improve efficiency
Establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications

Industrial Engineering experience
Experience using continuous improvement tools including LEAN, ACE, Six Sigma, etc.
Object oriented coding experience e.g., Visual Studio, Visual Basic, Python, R
SAP experience
Discrete simulation modeling (FlexSim, Arena, Simeio, etc.)
Microsoft Office experience including advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Experience leveraging influencing, interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to drive results
