Collins Aerospace is looking for a FP&A Principal Specialist, Business Jets Program to lead conversations and drive financial recommendations to senior leadership on the Business Jets (BizJets) Programs. You will be the financial point of contact for program leadership teams to support recurring and ad-hoc requests. In addition, you will generate financial forecasts, annual plans, and long-range strategic plans that will give you direct communication to senior leadership.
**Position is currently working remotely. We are looking ideally for Hybrid at our Chula Vista CA facility. We are open to remote with travel as needed. Relocation assistance available.**
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform Month-End activities including Journal Entry preparation, backlog reporting, P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reports, and various actual vs forecast variance analyses
Generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, cost, inventory, and AR
Prepare and present actual results and Key Operating Data reports to senior leadership
Support audit requests and various ad-hoc projects
Continuously look for ways to improve current processes and support continuous improvement activities across the organization
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR
Advance degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR
In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
Basic understanding of US GAAP principles
MS Office suite experience: Excel-VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables. Create PowerPoint presentations.
Experience with large data sets
Able to communicate and make presentations to senior level leadership
Preferred Qualifications
SAP or Business Warehouse experience
Experience with Business Intelligence Tools (MS Analysis, Webi)
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
Able to travel up to 5% domestically & internationally when circumstances permit
