Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced Finance Manager (Hybrid) who will support the Bid & Proposals team within the Wheels & Brakes business.  Within this role, the success candidate will be responsible for providing financial leadership, guidance, and analysis (on both a transactional and strategic level) for various bids and proposals, varying in volume and campaign size.  This role will serve as a strategic business partner to the cross functional leadership team to help drive key business targets and initiatives with a focus on meeting the company’s financial commitments.  This role will gain exposure to Commercial Aftermarket segment.  Key business partners/customers will include but not be limited to Finance/Senior Leadership, Sales, Contracts, Program Management, and Operations.

This role serves in a Hybrid capacity.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage a team of financial analysts with the primary role to manage the Landing Systems Aftermarket Proposals processes.
Develop cost estimates and financial analysis for aftermarket quotes to aid management in business decisions that support contract negotiations. 
Create the financial return analysis, termination and liability analysis and expenditure analysis.
Prepare written proposal summaries documenting the proposal assumptions and the potential risks and benefits of the proposal.
Provide accurate margin analysis for Program Management in support of customer negotiations. Support fact-finding inquiries with accurate cost estimating data as required by the customer or government auditors. 
Coordinate cross functionally with other global sites to accumulate and analyze data from other departments such as Program Management, Design and Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Contract Administration and from suppliers.
Applicant will work with bills-of-material, purchase order data, supplier quotes, manufacturing routings and overhead rates to create the cost proposals. Reconcile current year financial results to proposed out-year results.
Create cost proposals in Microsoft Excel, Word or PowerPoint in response to customer inquiries and accumulate supporting data for each proposal in accordance with the customer requirements. Accurately document the assumptions that the cost estimate is based on.
Able to work independently with accuracy and timeliness. Determine their daily priorities working with a volume of proposals and problem solving. 
Participate in or lead cross functional continuous improvement initiatives to improve the efficiency of the cost estimating process.
Responsible for managing the financial control environment within the proposals process. This requires working in coordination with the controls team to ensure the processes are following the controls guidelines as defined by the Controls team. It includes supporting any internal, external or governmental audits, SOX requirements and any other audits.
Support internal, external, and governmental audits.
Supports ACE, the Continuous Process Improvement teams and Continuous Process Improvement philosophy. Maintain site financial policies and procedures.
Travel required to support internal needs.

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires:

Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience OR
In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required.
Experience in all Microsoft Office Suites, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD – 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
