Primary Responsibilities:
Research, develop, design and test electrical components, equipment, systems and networks.
Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products and systems for commercial, industrial and domestic purposes.
Produce products according to specifications, using the most cost effective and efficient means.
Analyze and evaluate new or improved electronic components. Includes power generation, transmission and distribution, rotating machinery, illumination, wire communication systems and servomechanisms.
Include circuit theory, computer design and development, instrumentation, radio communications, semiconductor devices, solid state devices and television systems.
Analyze equipment and conduct experimental tests to establish operating data.
Perform engineering duties including manufacturing planning and the installation, operation and maintenance of electrical apparatus to ensure that projects are completed on-time and as per the defined goals.
Determine material and equipment needs and orders supplies to ensure sufficient resources for project completion.
Develop or perform operational, maintenance or testing procedures for electronic products, components, equipment or systems to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of engineering processes.
Manage activities for the manufacture, construction, installation, maintenance, operation or modification of electronic equipment, products, or systems to ensure smooth operations.
Prepare, review or maintain schedules, design documentation, or operational reports and charts to ensure that progress and performance can be tracked.
Resolve day to-day technical problems on the production lines to minimize disruption.
Troubleshoot electrical device problems to ensure that issues are resolved efficiently.
Design, fabricate, modify and evaluate electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in other equipment and devices.
Required Qualifications:
At least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field
At least 2 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer (or related role) with Electrical Engineering and Radio Frequency (RF) hardware development
At least 2 years of experience with implementation of RF requirements and performing detailed RF and wireless hardware design and development
At least 2 years of experience developing RF test procedures
At least 2 years of experience performing circuit level RF prototyping, debugging and testing
At least 2 years of experience with Microwave Office, ADS, HFSS, MATLAB or equivalent RF developments tools to perform RF circuit and systems simulation and analysis
