Position Role Type:

At our Peabody, MA, MRO facility, we specialize in the repair and special processing of Turbine Module jet engine components. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be the face of our organization, interacting daily with internal and external customers, representing the voice of the customer to provide excellent customer service.

This position is responsible for interacting with customers in all aspects of customer service to achieve a superior level of customer support and satisfaction. Responsibilities include customer and business transactions involving pricing, quotes, invoicing, delivery information, and other customer related inquiries.

Primary Responsibilities: 

Responsible for end-to-end customer interaction and service satisfaction.
Responsible for incoming pricing, job quotes, invoice processing, answering customer inquiries & repair updates, order status and maintaining records of customer interactions & transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
Responsible for customer and business transactions, such as handle incoming purchase orders, including reviews and discrepancy resolution, etc.
Generating customer quotes, including updating quotes as new findings arise, and communicating closely with customers.
Process orders, invoices, certificates of conformity, dispositions, and shipping reports, and weekly status reports.
Process and/or forward technical problems to Quality, Engineering, and/or productions teams.
Track open trouble orders to resolution.
Interface with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and management.
Take part in team zoom meetings, trainings, and site communications.

Basic Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR  
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience OR 
In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required  
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience with ERP Systems (SAP), & digital communications in a network environment.
Familiarity working with customer portals
