Duties & Responsibilities:
•Handles purchase of direct materials
•Performs supply/demand review and analysis, PO placement, follow-up/expedites deliveries, Inventory Control
•Coordinate with internal department related to price matching, invoice aging, receiving , IQC and warehouse.
•Works with multiple vendors to determine the best deals for the company
•Effectively communicate forecasts and purchase orders to qualified suppliers based on Collin’s purchasing guidelines.
•Initiates purchase orders and amendments for parts
•Works closely with strategic sourcing to advance enterprise-wide sourcing programs as appropriate.
•Coordinates the planning of recent schedules and inventory control parameters for the assigned products and services.
•Coordinates as appropriate quality matters and engineering changes/developments between company activities and suppliers.
•Organizes and implements with direction from a supervisor, senior supervisor and/or the supply chain manager strategies to accomplish small business and disadvantaged business sourcing programs consistent with company guidelines.
•Management of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Supplier quality performance, Supplier On time Delivery
Required Qualifications :
•With any relevant experience in purchasing
•Basic knowledge in using ERP systems (preferred JD Edwards, SAP)
•Good verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
