Operations Support Engineer (Electrical) is responsible for support of Operations, Testing, Design review, Quality. and Supply chain issues. This position is for an Electronics support engineer to with experience with Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and electro-mechanical assembly, testing and troubleshoot to component level. We are seeking a highly interactive candidates with the skills and passion to provide support and mentorship to operations technicians and passion for relentless continuous improvement
Candidate will be part of a multi-disciplined team, providing expertise and guidance on operations and product support issues. Qualified candidates must have experience with digital, analog and/or RF testing and experience debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems. Support, guide and mentor Operations and test personnel
Troubleshoot complex electronic circuits to component level and determine root cause.
High level skill and ability to relay knowledge to operator level in use of O-Scopes, meters, generators and other bench top test equipment
Resolution of issues on production lines and in testing (including suppliers)
Failure analysis / root cause determination and corrective action implementation
Identifying and instantiating circuit card and subassembly design updates
Generate and maintain work instructions, test plans and data collection required to build and test electro-mechanical assemblies
Generate and maintain SAP workcenter and routings for active products
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience OR
In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
analog, digital, and / or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and / or digital signal processing
Experience in Root-Cause Corrective Action investigations
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
Electrical Engineering Degree
Experience performing engineering support in CCA, or electronics assembly environment
Knowledge of printed circuit board and component function and fabrication
Experience with SAP, Teamcenter, CAD design/review, Work instruction generation and support
Experience with test equipment, test automation, and test data collection
Experience with Test equipment introduction, qualification, troubleshooting and repair
Experience in applying Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods in achieving production yield improvements
Knowledge and experience proposing and implementing Engineering Change Notices
Excellent Technical writing and formal presentation experience
