The Senior Manager, Program Management F135 Production is a highly visible member of the Engine Controls Systems (ECS) F135 Value Stream. The Senior Manager interfaces with the customer, both Pratt & Whitney and the US Government’s Joint Program Office (JPO), and is accountable for delivery, quality and financial commitments. They drive customer satisfaction through leading a cross functional team, defining and implementing Raytheon Technologies (RTX) continuous improvement principles and developing program strategies to ensure all commitments are met.
The Senior Manager is a supervisory role responsible for a significant business segment within ECS. They will leverage their strong leadership competence in Customer Focus, Collaboration, Courage, Business Acumen and Strategic Leadership.
The Senior Manager is hybrid to Windsor Locks, CT.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead Production Program operational excellence to achieve all contractual deliverables including but not limited to on time delivery, product quality, reliability and cost requirements.
Integrate with Collins quality, industrial management, supply chain and delivery assurance as well as product value streams and suppliers.
Manage the Engineering Assistance to Production (EAP) Program
Manage, supervise and lead the Control Account Managers (CAMs) who support production hardware delivery and production Program Administrative Labor (PAL)
Serve as co-lead of the Funding Request Board to addresses ad hoc requests for funding which require assessing need and applicability to various government contracts’ statements of work
Lead negotiation of production contracts and contractual changes and understand production contract flowdown
Prepare and communicate content for internal value stream reviews and external customer program reviews, including Government audits.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience OR
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience OR
In absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience is required
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated program management experience
Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
Demonstrated history of achieving business results leading a cross-functional team
Production and or Military Program customer experience
