As a signals intelligence analyst, you’ll enable our customer’s understanding of cyber threats through your use of information and intelligence gathered from collection efforts that interpret and exploit data gathered from target information systems. Using your SIGINT tradecraft, you’ll develop adversary digital networks; conduct computer network exploitation and analysis; network mapping and discovery; intrusion analysis; and cyber threat intelligence. Your efforts will help to validate information and produce intelligence assessments that enable informed decision-making at the senior Military and Government level.
TASKS:
Assists in researching unclassified and classified databases for use in written products
Assists in monitoring and analyzing strategic and operational intelligence information
Provides research support for analysts who produce Intelligence Community reports and briefings
Aides in researching, authoring, and coordinating threat assessments to support the Commander and/or leaders in the U. S. civilian intelligence community
Possess working knowledge of relevant NSA tasking, collection, processing, reporting procedures, and communications architecture (PED)
Responsible for advising and providing Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) in support of cyberspace operations
Responds to SIGINT request for information from multiple Intelligence Specialties (All Source, GEOINT, HUMINT) focused on solving difficult problem sets that vary between projects, including long-term project efforts analysis and research for industry, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, and targeted vulnerability
Provides expertise in SIGINT analysis to retrieve, produce, and exploit standard and non-standard IMINT products
Identifies trends in threat development, performance, capabilities, and vulnerabilities
Conducts analysis of the R&D process and organizations associated with targeted SIGINT systems
Provides leadership with recommendations and mitigation strategies for countering existing and emergent threats
Provides subject matter briefs, intelligence notes, threat modules, threat briefings, and coordinates products within DoD and IC agencies and organizations throughout the Enterprise
Collaborate with workforce and analysts to enrich and complement analytical understanding and mastery of SIGINT production efforts
Requirements:
Minimum clearance requirement is TS/SCI with CI polygraph
HS Diploma and 4+ years of experience (Junior), 8 Years experience (Mid), or 12+ years of experience (Senior)
College Education may substitute for experience in some cases
Minimum of three years’ experience in operations coordination roles of responsibility within a tactical, operational, or strategic level command or while supporting a DoD contract of similar size and scope
Must be self-motivated and able to operate efficiently and effectively without direct supervision in joint and interagency environments while maintaining communication with and responsive to the customer
Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of portals and other real or near real time knowledge management systems
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong attention to detail
Active-duty military SIGINT experience while assigned to or directly supporting USCYBERCOM or service cyber components
