CACI seeks a talented Network Architect to join our Advanced Solutions Group, within the National Security and Innovative Solutions Sector.
What You’ll Get to Do:
This individual is the lead designer for the mission/administrative systems for the NRO Network Operations Squadron (NOPS), responsible to continuously identify current computing, networking, and infrastructure solutions that improve performance, mitigate system or component obsolescence, and/or reduce overall sustainment costs. The NOPS mission systems sustain the link between NRO ground stations and NRO satellites. This individual must design consistent with the latest industry developments and to the greatest extent possible follow NRO and Defense Department enterprise level guidance for standards for open systems architectures. This individual will develop, implement and maintain an approved architecture evolution and re-capitalization plan for all NOPS systems.

Responsible for functioning as a top technical expert supporting NOPS enterprise technical infrastructure.
Studies and analyzes system needs, system development, systems process analysis, design, and re-engineering.
Works with the enterprise to solve mission challenges with technology including hardware, software, databases, operating systems, and networks.
Designs and defines information technology (IT) system architecture for integration of multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications across the NOPS enterprise.
Determines systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security.
Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system.
Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies.
Develops and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards.
Assists in the development and management of an architecture governance process. Maintains knowledge of changes in technologies.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
TS/SCI is required and polygraph can and must be obtained to start (requires US citizenship)
College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline.
10+ years of recent experience in designing, planning, building, upgrading and oversight of complex DoD/IC IT networks
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Satellite operations and/or launch experience
Knowledge and understanding of government launch procedures and policy

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$101,800.00 – $218,800.00
