Vehicle Electronics Engineer, Senior
Work on a team with thermal experts, energy storage experts, and mechanical experts to design the Army’s next electric Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV). Develop electronic systems and components to use within equipment or machinery and support other engineers to perform tasks when necessary. advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor or supervise team members. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with power electronics
Experience with designing and applying analytical models to electric motors and electric drive vehicles
Experience with electric machines, including direct current (DC)
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Engineering, or Doctorate’s degree in Engineering
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) Certification or Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,600 to $197,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
