Tier III Network Administrator
Key Role:
Analyze, administer, and support voice, video, and data communications networks. Manage the Enterprise Network for resource availability. Process Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI’s) as directed by management. Provide After Action Reports (AARs) for Problem Management resolution. Evaluate hardware and software, including peripheral and output equipment. Participate in and lead aspects of major network installations and upgrades. Provide advice and training to end-users.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with programming and troubleshooting KG-175A and KG-175D encryptors to include 10G encryptors
Experience monitoring and configurating crypto equipment
Experience with LAN and WAN troubleshooting and network troubleshooting techniques
Experience with WAN circuit technologies (T1, DS3, OC-3, OC-12, OC-192)
Knowledge of operating systems and applications as they pertain to the network environment
Knowledge of Cisco and Juniper routers and switches
Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve operating and hardware network system problems
Ability to ensure compliance with network security policies and procedures
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience with Network Administration, Associate’s degree and 8+ years of experience with Network Administration, Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience with Network Administration, Master’s degree and 4+ years of experience with Network Administration, or Doctorate degree and 2+ years of experience with Network Administration
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of critical vs non-critical requirements
Knowledge of system trade studies
Ability to present complex issues in clearly written language
Ability to use diagrams, tables, or figures to improve the presentation of technical material, and ensure key business issues are addressed consistent with the organization’s goals and objectives
Ability to analyze complex situations and utilize problem-solving skills under pressure
Ability to learn new communications technologies quickly and apply as needed to resolve problems
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.
Colorado: $85,900 – $159,400 (annualized USD)
