Systems Engineer, Lead
The Opportunity:
As a Data Scientist, you will be part of the team that is responsible for designing, developing, and validating analytical models and algorithms. You will use mathematical and statistical methods to analyze data and make recommendations, develop data-driven models, stay current on data mining and machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques and software tools, serve as an expert on the analysis and interpretation of data to support the development of products, processes, or systems, and support and conduct studies related to projects, processes, products, or services.
As a leader in systems engineering, you will construct models and adapt existing models to address our stakeholder’s problem space, assist and support the development of an end-to-end machine learning pipeline, and manage and support maintenance and lifecycle management throughout the pipeline’s lifecycle. You will also support technical leadership by mentoring junior engineers in the areas of machine learning, data science, and artificial intelligence and network with other data science professionals to modernize our team’s AI/ML methodologies and keep pace with industry best practices.

You Have:
7+ years of experience in Systems Engineering Principals
Experience with coding languages, including Python, R, or SAS
Experience with Data modeling
Experience with applying data science solutions to obstacles
Experience in applying complex data analytics
Experience with writing technical documentation and test reports
Experience in working with federal government programs
Knowledge of modeling techniques, including statistical, process, predictive, and physics-based methods
Secret clearance
Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics or Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Software Engineering
Nice If You Have:
Experience in working with sensors, Natural Language, Math, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or Behavioral Sciences
Knowledge of Radio Frequency, Cyber Security, or Image and Video Modelling
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Possession of excellent analysis, client support, and presentation skills
Top Secret clearance
