With the critical decisions made in our industry every day, we need an intel analyst like you to do just that. At Booz Allen, youâ??ll use your industry knowledge to work with the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) community performing advanced protocol and networking analysis. Perform network and protocol analysis in support of multiple developmental efforts in support of intelligence analysis mission. Weâ??re seeking your advanced advisory skills to join our mission area team to help deliver creative solutions to complex problems. 

As a subject matter expert in intelligence analysis , youâ??ll bring your analytical and data analysis, communication, creativity, critical thinking, research, investigative, operational, strategic expertise as we uncover schemes and scenarios that will provide historical conclusions as well as model future events and correlations. Youâ??ll work with a development team to use emerging technologies including data science, scripting, and automated workflows, to process metadata and content for discovery purposes.

On our team, youâ??ll develop models with advanced analytics and methodologies such as MOP and E, qualitative and quantitative metric analysis, etc. to uncover patterns within complex multi-variable data. Youâ??ll provide the client with support for the planning and implementation of traditional foreign intelligence collection, counterintelligence (CI), non-traditional operations, and technical operations. Youâ??ll use critical, information-based research and analysis to relay findings to decision-makers.

Youâ??ll be a trusted advisor and share knowledge and findings including the development and mentoring of others on technical analysis and discovery tradecraft, combined specialized technical training, client operational tradecraft, open-source research, technical tradecraft that drive change.

You Have:� 

4 years of experience in Network Analysis and intelligence studies

4 years of experience in the Linux environment

Experience in Joint or Service military planning and conducting military intelligence activities

Experience with intelligence support to offensive DOD space or cyber operations

Experience in Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)

Experience in providing Intelligence support to operations and in protocol analysis

Ability to communicate technical approaches and details within small project teams, including team interaction and presentations

TS/SCI clearance� 

HS diploma or GED

Graduate of Joint Cyber Analysis Course (JCAC) or Certifications in network traffic analysis � 

Nice If You Have:� 

Experience with programming and scripting in multiple languages, including C, C++, C#, Python, or Bash

Experience with multiple network analytic tools and platforms such as ThunderRidge, Kali Linux

Experience with various SATCOM systems & RF signals and with IP network transport and protocols

Experience with the theory and implementation of SATCOM protocols, systems, and standards

Experience with electronic warfare (EW) principles and experience in supporting EW planning and operations

Experience in All-Source Intelligence and providing Intelligence support to acquisitions

Experience in collaborating with the intelligence community with an emphasis on NSA

Experience reading, writing, and interpreting complex documents

Experience with concepts of malware, including protocol, reverse engineering and with passive network analysis

Associate’s degree in Intelligence Studies and Technology

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidateâ??s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.

Colorado: $79,895 – $164,115 (annualized USD)

New York (including New York City): $84,100 – $195,400 (annualized USD)
