Software Engineer
The Opportunity:
As a software engineer, you will work as a member of an on-site team for a Department of Defense client. The primary responsibility is creation, implementation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of custom data analysis and visualization products. You will be responsible for understanding customer information challenges by analyzing client requirements, data sources, infrastructure, and information gaps to develop comprehensive data analysis and visualization solutions. All solutions require documentation and configuration management coordination with other engineer team members.

You Have:
• 2+ years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, or SQL and working in a NodeJS environment
• Experience with creating custom web-based visualizations
• Experience in working with Git for version control, Linux, and running terminal commands
• Ability to write Web Service calls to external systems and use and administer DBMS, including Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL
• Ability to deliver high visibility products and support senior leaders directly in a short time period
• Ability to stay current with emerging technologies
• Ability to be a self-starter, identify risks and problems, and initiate activities to address them without being prompted
• Ability to handle a dynamic environment where priorities consistently shift and work on a geographically dispersed team and help others or ask for help, when needed
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience with software engineering in lieu of a degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
