Operational Warfare Planner

As a Pacific theater posture planner, you’ll bring your component and combatant command expertise to work alongside thought leaders in the strategic policy and planning directorate on projects for a client. You’ll use your skills and expertise to integrate Service Component initiatives to develop a synchronized concept for theater posture and coordinates directly with higher DoD and the Joint Staff on theater posture efforts.
Work with us to develop theater posture initiatives with the Indo-Pacific staff and integrates posture initiatives in theater level operational plans and products. You Have:?
10+ years of experience as a commissioned officer supporting the DoD
5+ years of experience with military operations in the USINDOPACOM AOR
5+ years of experience with operational or strategic planning
3+ years of experience on a component or combatant command staff
Experience in security cooperation with allies and partners
Knowledge of the Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP)
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:?
Knowledge of USINDOPACOM policy and strategy and USINDOPACOM TCP/TCO, GCPs, CT EXORD, OPLANs, CONPLANs, and Theater Security Cooperation Plans, including linkages to parallel national interests
Knowledge of U.S. national plans and policy National Security Strategy (NSS), National Military Strategy (NMS), Unified Command Plan (UCP), Guidance for Employment of the Force (GEF), and Joint Strategic Campaign Plan (JSCP)
Master’s Degree
Graduate of the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), School of Advanced Warfighting (SAW), School of Advanced Air and Space Studies (SAASS), Maritime Advanced Warfighting School (MAWS), Basic Strategic Art Program (BSAP), or Advanced Strategic Art Program (ASAP)

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
