Network Engineer
The Challenge:
A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable organizations to achieve their mission, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That’s why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to craft the exact network the USAF needs.
As a network engineer on our team, you’ll help design and evolve a reliable network to support critical programs. You’ll work with our team of SMEs and government specialists to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. You’ll then plan the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms, to supporting the acquisition of hardware, you’ll put your hardware and software talents to good use. This is your chance to grow your skills in areas like virtual networking and system consolidation while continuing to grow your network engineering experience. You Have:
3+ years of experience managing network servers or appliances
Knowledge of virtual networking
Knowledge of installation, administration, or maintenance of Unified Communication (UC) networks
Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects, raise concerns or risks, and meet deadlines
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
Security+ Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience with special access networks
Knowledge of Splunk SIEM tool
Bachelor’s degree
IAT Level III Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
