Network Engineer, Senior
A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable agencies to achieve their mission, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That’s why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to craft the exact network DoD needs.
As a network engineer on our team, you’ll help DoD evolve remote access networks to support national security systems (NSS). You’ll work with SMEs and Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) engineers to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. You’ll then plan the system design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms, to supporting the acquisition of hardware, you’ll put your hardware and software talents to good use. This is your chance to grow your skills in securing data-in-transit (DIT) and data-at-rest (DAR) for CSfC solutions while continuing to grow your network engineering experience. Join us as we help protect secure mobile infrastructure solutions.
You’ll apply your expertise in routing and switching, integration of encryption gear, network design and architecture, system interoperability, IP engineering, network transport layers, multi-protocol label switching, gateway protocol, virtual routing, and forwarding as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the DoD evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies.
Join us. The world can’t wait.

Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of experience in the DoD in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience in coordinating with the commercial mobile industry to assess mobile technologies for the US government
Experience with implementing certificate-based encryption on network devices
Experience with configuring and deploying Type-1 encryption devices
Knowledge of the Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) capability packages
CCNP or equivalent Certification
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
