Model Based Systems Engineer, Senior
The Challenge:

Would you work to understand your client’s environment and how to develop the right systems for their mission? As a systems engineer on our team, you’ll design engineered model-based systems using systems modeling language (SysML) models in support of a wide variety of customer missions. This is your chance to develop your skills in model-based systems engineering and digital engineering while gaining experience in a wide range of client Submarine Warfare, Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) and Manned and Unmanned USW systems developments. Perfect your skills by merging Agile system development methods and designs through Digital Engineering and Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE). You’ll develop your skills in systems engineering, modeling, simulation, and data analysis while gaining experience with state-of-the-art capabilities and emergent technologies. Join our team and help to turn requirements into actions that drive and deliver digital innovation for the US Navy. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

You Have:
5+ years of experience with systems engineering, integration, and testing
Experience with the system engineering life cycle, including requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment
Experience with MBSE and digital engineering tools and processes
Experience with MBSE tools, including Sparx Enterprise Architect, Magic Draw, or IBM Rhapsody
Knowledge of Agile systems engineering and development
Ability to use UML, SysML, and UAF modeling and architecture frameworks
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (S.T.E.M) field
Nice If You Have:
Experience with systems engineering configuration management, risk management, cybersecurity, or certification processes
Experience with using modeling tools, including MATLAB, Simulink, and AFSIM
Experience with Agile project management
Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and dynamic team environment
Ability to interact with technical, non-technical, internal, and external stakeholders at all levels
Top Secret clearance
Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (S.T.E.M) field
OCSMP Model Builder Fundamental Certification
INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.
Colorado: $90,900- $187,500 (annualized USD)
New York (including New York City): $95,900 – $225,000 (annualized USD)
