The Opportunity:

As an expert in Department of Defense (DoD) Special Operations Forces missions, your unique skill set inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don’t. We need your extensive defense mission knowledge and advisory skills to help solve some of our clients’ most complex problems and help find solutions that keep our nation safe.

As a Special Operations Forces subject matter expert, you’ll bring your leadership, strategic, tactical, technical, DOTMLPF, MDMP, JCIDS, and Combatant Command plans and operations skills to work with thought leaders, analysts, and technical experts across a wide range of skills to ensure warfighter operational considerations are infused in rapid prototype initiation from day one. You’ll sharpen your skills as you research, develop, analyze, assess, plan, and support rapid Space, Cyber, and Special Operations capability development and integration into the client’s plans and operations. Work with us to help meet warfighter needs and deliver new leap-ahead technologies to the client. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have:? 

10+ years of experience supporting USSOCOM operations and plans 

8+ years of experience conducting research and analysis in support of DoD or IC missions  

Knowledge of Defense Department mission analysis, planning, targeting, and capability gap analysis methods, center of gravity and CARVER target analysis procedures, and documentation processes

Ability to work with engineers to translate domain, mission capability, and AOR research and analysis into top level prototype development and integration plans  

Top Secret clearance

Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:? 

10+ years of experience supporting Joint operations and plans for a combatant command headquarters 

Ability to communicate with analysts, engineers, and warfighters

Possession of excellent research, technical writing, and briefing skills

Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

TS/SCI clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $106,200 to $242,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
