The Opportunity:
The Information Environment (IE) is a key element of military planning and operations. Effective operations in the information environment are crucial to achieving U.S. national goals. As an information professional, you know how to engage and influence key audiences to achieve desired effects in the IE. Weâ??re looking for an experienced information specialist like you, who is ready to share their knowledge and willing to win for the client and live our mission every day. Here, youâ??ll use your consulting skills and experience to design, develop, produce, and consult on a variety of information efforts to support national security.
As an information professional on our team, youâ??ll develop creative solutions to complex problems. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders and clients to research, plan and assess operations in the information environment. You will advise the client on the most effective ways to integrate information-related capabilities to support and protect national interests in the Indo-Pacific region. You will examine, analyze, and recommend the most effective methods, data sources, and technology solutions to provide effective operational messaging of Joint or combined multi-national operations, activities, and investments.
You’ll leverage behavioral science, research, analysis, and planning experience to deliver effective data-driven approaches to combat malign foreign influence. Synchronize, coordinate, and integrate assessments at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels. Collaborate with team members and travel to international team sites to support strategic communication and messaging and work with other Combatant Commands, Services, and subordinate units. Examine, analyze, and recommend the most effective methods, data sources, and technology solutions to effectively assess the impact of operations in the IE (OIE).
Work with us as we design, develop, and produce effective OIE to protect national security interests and preserve peace in the Indo-Pacific region.

You Have:â?¯Â
8+ years of experience working with the DoD
5+ years of experience in Military Information Support Operations (MISO) or OIE planning
3+ years of experience in developing goals, objectives, and assessment frameworks or methodologies
2+ years of experience with designing and analyzing key performance indicators or measures of performance and effectiveness, leveraging data visualization and analytics to assess the effectiveness of operations
Experience with the Indo-Pacific region
Experience with writing and briefing reports, graphics, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite products and SharePoint collaborative tools
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Secret clearance
Bachelorâ??s degree
Nice If You Have:â?¯Â
Experience at the Combatant Command, Service Component, or Theater Special Operations Command headquarters level
Experience with writing and editing for news or professional publications
Experience with using social media in a professional capacity, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, or LINE
Experience with developing data visualizations with large data sets
Experience in working with distributed teams using asynchronous communications
TS/SCI clearance
Masterâ??s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individualâ??s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allenâ??s total compensation package for employees.
