Mechanical Engineer, Senior
Key Role:
engineering physics, engineering mathematics, and materials science principles to support the design, analysis, manufacture, or maintenance of mechanical systems. advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
Knowledge of multiple engineering phases, from sketching an idea through the manufacturing and testing of the finished product
Ability to support projects at different stages of the engineering lifecycle
Ability to define and document technical requirements
Ability to prepare engineering packages, and integration and testing plans
Ability to lead documentation activities for systems and subsystems
Top Secret clearance
Master’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to analyze systems requirements and design a solution with minimal guidance
Ability to recommend engineering solutions and strategies to senior management and defend technical analysis to subject matter experts
Ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary technical team consisting of systems, electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers
Master’s degree in Engineering or related field
