Machine Learning Engineer
The Opportunity:Â
As an experienced engineer, you know that machine learning is critical to understanding and processing massive datasets. Your ability to conduct statistical analyses on business processes using Machine Learning (ML) techniques makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused solution. We need your technical knowledge and desire to problem-solve to support. As a machine learning engineer on our team, youâ??ll train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from data.  Â
In this role, youâ??ll own and define the direction of mission-critical solutions by applying best-fit ML algorithms and technologies. Youâ??ll be part of a large community of machine learning engineers across the firm and collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and product owners to deliver world class solutions to design and develop advanced machine learning models, ensure models are properly maintained over time while delivering cutting edge solutions to real world problems. Your advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise will guide clients as they navigate the landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks.Â

You Have:â?¯Â
Experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Lead Data Scientist
Experience with software containerization and orchestration, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Pod Man
Knowledge of Machine Learning Ops and the design and implementation of Machine Learning algorithms integrated in operational systems and deployed to production environments
Ability to train, optimize, integrate, and reinforce Machine Learning algorithms across high volume or velocity text and imagery or full-motion video data feeds
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:â?¯Â
Experience with Machine Learning programming languages, including Python, TensorFlow, or JavaScript
Experience with distributable databases, including Apache Spark, HDFS, MapR, or Cloudera
Experience with Machine Learning hardware, including AMD, NVIDIA DGX, or small form factor HW, including Jetson or Xavier
Experience with performing data exploration and data analysis on multiple data types, including images, video, and text
Experience with feature selection, computer vision or natural language processing model building, and optimization using supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques to support analytic objectives
Experience with Databricks
Knowledge of deep learning, natural language processing, and synthetic data generation
Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individualâ??s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allenâ??s total compensation package for employees.
