Joint Operations Planner

Key Role:

subject matter expertise in strategic planning to a joint DoD client, including planning support and assessments to effectively synchronize and integrate DoD and joint, interagency, intergovernmental, and multinational (JIIM) capabilities into the mission. expertise in planning support and assessments to multiple operation plans (OPLAN) and contingency plans (CONPLAN), and regional expertise in USINDOPACOM working groups and theater-level problem-solving. Support and integrate DoD, interagency, and allied partner capabilities in each operational plan phase.

Basic Qualifications:

12+ years of experience in a DoD 3-4 star Headquarters

8+ years of experience with military-level operational planning, including developing and advising on matters regarding CWMD and joint multi-domain environments

1+ years of experience as an operational planner in the USINDOPACOM AOR

Experience with the DoD Joint Publication 3-40 CWMD mission, the joint planning process, and time-phased force and deployment data (TPFDD)

Knowledge of CWMD policies, strategic guidance, and technologies at the national level

TS/SCI clearance

Bachelor’s degree in WMD, National Security Studies, or International Relations

Additional Qualifications:

Experience with joint exercise design and support

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Completion of DoD CWMD Service School or Training

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
