Information Systems Security Officer, Senior
Key Role:
Serve as a Senior-Level Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for appointed systems. Work with system owners and create and maintain Assessment and Authorization (A&A) documentation, including the system security plan, privacy plan, security control assessment, privacy control assessment, and any plans of action and milestones to support Authorization to Operate (ATO) decisions. Capture and refine information security requirements for new systems or for enhanced functionality on existing systems and ensure that the requirements are effectively integrated into information systems throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Implement information security standards and procedures. Provide support for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with information assurance or cybersecurity
Experience supporting system security and authorization processes
Experience with NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, or Intelligence Community Directive 503 requirements
Experience leading response activities with IT services departments
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
DoD 8570 IAT III or IAM III Level Baseline Certification, including Security+, CySA+, CASP+, or CCISO Certifications
Additional Qualifications:
Experience providing network, system administration, or computer operations
Experience with ACAS and vulnerability databases, including Tenable Nessus, NVD, and NIAP
Experience supporting the intelligence community (IC)
Knowledge of cloud architecture and virtualization
Possession of excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
