Health and Safety Engineer
Key Role:
Implement an organization’s health and safety policies and procedures to meet organizational objectives and governmental regulations. specific functional knowledge including working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and may review or guide activities of more junior employees. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with performing safety and health program audits
2+ years of experience with safety and health written and training program development
Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations
Ability to brief safety survey, inspection findings, and recommendations to stakeholders
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience in providing training and advising employees on safety guidelines, company policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to employee safety
Knowledge of inspecting workforce conditions to ensure all applicable federal and state health and safety regulations are complied
Ability to prepare documents and reports
Ability to work independently
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Clearance:

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.
Colorado: $60,000 – $72,000 (annualized USD)
New York (including New York City): $60,000 – $72,000 (annualized USD)
