Energy Project Developer

On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of installation energy resilience. You’ll collaborate with program leadership to review contracts, project cost accounting, and tactical planning using tools like climate change models and regular interactions with engineers, financial analysts, and real estate specialists. You Have:
3+ years of experience with identification and development of large-scale energy projects, including renewable and alternative energy technologies
3+ years of experience with Army or DoD installations
Ability to conduct and review installation energy project and security assessments
Ability to collect, compile, and analyze installation, regulatory, resource, and market information necessary to thoroughly assess and recommend energy project opportunities
Ability to identify holistic installation energy security solutions and a path forward to implement via private or appropriated funding
Ability to provide support in resolving program execution issues, including developing and coordinating communications, meetings, and special projects
Ability to perform all functional duties independently
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with carbon-free energy project development
Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
