Energy Project Developer, Senior
Key Role:
Provides energy technical advice, plans and implements support activities designed to optimize energy resilience initiatives in support of the client’s mission. Applies advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction, mentors and may supervise team members. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience as an Energy Project Developer
Experience with development of large-scale energy projectsÂ
Experience in working with DoD Installations on energy, including technology, financial, and government contracting issuesÂ
Experience with serving as senior advisor and supervising a team
Ability to provide executive level support in the identification and development of projects, including identifying project opportunities and reviewing opportunity assessments, project evaluations, and project plans
Ability to develop innovative strategies to identify project opportunities and resolve project issuesÂ
Ability to identify project and review holistic installation energy security solutions and path forward to implement via private or appropriated fundingÂ
Ability to provide recommendations to accelerate project development and organizational efficiencyÂ
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Master’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with Army installations
Experience with utilities
Experience with developing renewable and carbon free energy projects
Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individualâ??s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allenâ??s total compensation package for employees.
