Electronic Warfare Radar Engineer, Mid

The Opportunity:  

As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to developing the next generation of Electronic Warfare technologies and solutions. We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to research EW algorithms to provide the U.S. warfighter cutting edge capabilities in the management and dominance of the RF Spectrum.

At Booz Allen, you’ll use your engineering skills to transform the Air Force. Our team analyzes electronic warfare systems. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer, with a background in signal processing to help us design and develop algorithms for the characterization of a modern RF signal space.  

On our team, you’ll utilize modern programming languages such as C/C++, Matlab, and Python to perform analysis on ES Receiver Processing and EW technique effectiveness. You’ll impact the Air Force by identifying shortcomings and proposed modifications to the EW algorithms based on your analysis. This is a chance to use your signal processing skills while gaining experience in electronic warfare.

You Have: 

Experience in Algorithm Development, System Analysis, Radar Analysis or AI/ML

Experience with MATLAB, Python, Windows, and Linux

Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing, AI/ML, and Statistical Analysis

Ability to learn independently, self-motivate, and be a team player

Ability to obtain a security clearance

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics 

 Nice If You Have: 

3+ years experience in Electrical Engineering

Experience with Agile and Scrum development and Research and Development

Knowledge of EW methods and analysis, Mission analysis, Electronic Support Receivers, Signal Analysis

Top Secret clearance

Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,600 to $140,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
