The Opportunity:

What if you could use your engineering skills to transform Air Force weapons development and acquisition? As an electrical engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to support integration, test and acquisition of an airborne command and control system.

Our team ensures the military deterrence strategy remains viable into the future. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer, with knowledge of systems design, the requirements process, test and evaluation, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and engineering best practices to help us design and develop a next-generation command and control system. We’ll look to you to share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff. This is a chance to use your experience-based knowledge in engineering design, test and evaluation while broadening your skillset into areas like specific applications of Radio Frequency (RF) and military command and control. You Have:

7+ years of experience in command and control, RF networks or communications systems
3+ years of experience in technical leadership positions
Ability to understand complex systems
Ability to develop and evaluate requirements for US military systems
Ability to understand FPGAs and ASICs, interpret schematics, drawings and other design documentation
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics

Nice If You Have:

Experience with working with military command and control, communications system, or RF networks
Experience with System Engineering, software code, or design
Experience with integrating requirements into existing acquisition lifecycle phases, milestones, and deliverables
Experience with aircraft integration, test, or risk assessments
Ability to work in systems, including CAMEO, MATLAB, or DOORS
Top Secret clearance
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
