Our team performs hands-on teardowns, technical analysis, and modernization to support a family of testers for weapons systems. That’s why we need you, a computer engineer with experience in embedded systems, to help us reverse engineer interfaces, storage, and security, prototype in software or hardware, to create novel test equipment and procedures. You’ll directly impact the reliability of our country’s defense systems. This is a chance to join a close-knit team that is highly esteemed by our clients and well-resourced. You will use your troubleshooting, brainstorming, and development skills to improve the technology of these testers. You Have:

3+ years of experience in an engineering lab or development environment

1+ years of experience with C, C++, or Python programming languages

1+ years of experience with Linux or real-time operating systems

Experience with embedded systems design and development

Experience with LabVIEW

Experience with FPGA embedded systems development

Secret clearance

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

Nice If You Have:

Experience with embedded flash memory technology

Experience with MIL-STD-1553 and or MIL-STD-1760

Experience with FPGA

Experience with ARM or MIPS architectures and processors

Experience with UART, I2C, SPI, JTAG, or other protocols for system interface, programming, and debugging

Experience with working in an Agile environment

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
