Communications Engineer, Senior
Key Role:
Serves as a senior technical advisor to architects, designers, engineers, customers, and management on all aspects of wireless communications. Applies advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise using full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction and mentors and may supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with analyzing and assessing systems for prototype installation into existing DoD environment
Knowledge of how to repair, install, and maintain mobile or stationary radio transmitting, broadcasting, and receiving equipment, and two-way radio communications systems used in cellular telecommunications, mobile broadband, ship-to-shore, and aircraft-to-ground communications
Ability to provide communications operation, telecommunications operation, and maintenance support
Ability to plan, design, troubleshoot, and implement new or advanced communication technologies
Top Secret clearance
Master’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with supporting client operations
Ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills for briefing and documentation
Clearance:
