Cloud IT Solutions Architect, Lead
The Opportunity:
Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As an experienced cloud computing infrastructure architect, you know how to take advantage of cloud capabilities. Here, you’ll oversee our team of experienced professionals and use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to guide your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We’re looking for someone like you to help support national security through IT modernization efforts.
You’ll collaborate closely with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in Office 365, Azure, AWS, and GCP to design, define, develop, test, and debug cloud solution components. You’ll have the chance to broaden your experience within a DevOps framework to create and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. With access to our internal cloud infrastructures, you’ll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our clients’ problems, and you’ll partner with stakeholders and lead your team to deliver the right technical solutions. Whether modernizing legacy computing platforms and applications or creating new ones from scratch, you’ll have the latest tech and brightest teammates at your fingertips. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have:?
5+ years of experience with design, deployment, and management of Cloud environments, including AWS or Azure
Experience leading the migration, architecting, building, and deploying of systems and applications in Cloud platforms
Experience with monitoring, maintenance, and security of critical infrastructure components
Experience leading technical teams through solutions development and testing
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of experience in a technical field in lieu of a degree
Ability to obtain 8570 IAT Level II or III Certification within six months of hire
Nice If You Have:
Experience leading a team of cloud professionals on one or more projects or efforts
Experience working in a collaborative environment, and in a client delivery environment
Knowledge of networking, security groups, and policy management for cloud resources across multiple operating systems, including Linux and Windows
Knowledge of DoD accreditation processes
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevSecOps for designing, developing, and delivering using appropriate automation techniques or tools
Ability to work through challenging security requirements and maintain compliance

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.
Colorado: $102,500 – $212,700 (annualized USD)
New York (including New York City): $108,500 – $257,500 (annualized USD)
