Chemical Engineer, Junior
Key Role:
Provide technical support on fundamental and applied research programs in chemical engineering. Leverage technical expertise to support senior decision makers with the development of innovative, high-risk research programs and ongoing program management to include technical analysis and evaluation, risk management, and transition of the research efforts. Collaborate with world-class scientists, engineers, and finance professionals with expertise that spans a multitude of technical and non-technical fields to drive forward groundbreaking research efforts that impact the development of novel applications and advance the state-of-the-art. Maintain and leverage technical expertise and relationships with the academic, industry, and government research community.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with research on chemistry, chemical engineering or bioengineering in an academic or internship environment
Knowledge of chemical engineering principles
Experience with working in a team environment
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree by Spring 2023
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience as an intern, support contractor, government staff, or industry staff
Ability to gather and analyze data effectively
Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor’s degree
