Capability Development Lead

Key Role:

Join an energetic team whose day-to-day mission involves breaking down the toughest challenges and communicating the essential results of that work to senior leadership. Develop cutting-edge solutions to support the warfighter and maintain national security across the command-and-control data architecture using your determination and technology evaluation and integration skills. Understand the power behind complex systems using your Science and Technology (S&T) and Research and Development (R&D) expertise. Model a critical digital information layer that will be the cornerstone of achieving client objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in systems integration activities for complex systems.
4+ years of experience working with the OSD and R&D or S&T community, including DARPA
Experience in engagement with senior DoD officials and program executive officers at the executive level, including previous engagement with COCOMS at executive level and Partner Nations at National Levels
Experience developing CONOPS and Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTP’s)
Knowledge of Joint Fires and Joint Targeting, including the targeting process to synchronize intelligence collection (IC) plans with joint fires to focus intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR)
Ability to articulate multi-national exercise objectives and datalink architecture plans to action officers and senior military leaders
Ability to understand and write requirements to articulate gaps and seams in efforts
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

Experience with the development, test, evaluation, and deployment of large command-and-control architectures
Experience with the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and process
Experience providing detailed and well-researched documents, and planning, coordinating, and executing theater and regional operations and exercises
Experience with CCMD force structure and DoD component commands
Experience with joint exercise planning systems and tools
Knowledge of a broad spectrum of tactical data link protocols and satellite standards
Knowledge of joint, allied, and partner air and missile defense systems, joint and combined military architectures, and exercise modeling and simulation
TS/SCI clearance
Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
