We’re looking for someone like you to propel business analytics and processes forward, as well as delve into technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences.
As an IT business analyst, you’ll work to develop leading-edge data lake applications. Working with your team of architects, developers, testers, business analysts, DevSecOps engineers, data scientists, and AI/ML engineers, and alongside scrum masters, project managers, and other business analysts, you’ll identify clients’ business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You’ll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you’ll guide your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, you’ll deliver high business value products to Veteran’s Affairs.

1+ years of experience gathering requirements, shepherding user stories, and gaining approval from both business and development representation
Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
Ability to context switch quickly, track user requests via multiple different media, including Teams IMs, Outlook emails, and voice requests, and manage multiple streams of activity simultaneously
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum
Experience briefing senior leaders on technical requirements

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,000.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
