Geospatial Engineer

As a Geospatial Engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape Indo-Pacific regional security by leading the geospatial engineering effort in the client space. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. You Have:
3+ years of experience with supporting geospatial engineering solutions in support of GIS information operations and analysis
Experience with collecting, analyzing, and distributing geospatial information
Experience with developing GIS data visualizations
Experience with using GIS databases from imagery and cartographic or digital sources
Experience with using imagery source data and GIS software tools to create basic and advanced mapping products
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Experience with INDOPACOM Intelligence problem sets
Experience as an Army Geospatial Engineer or Analyst or in military service
Experience with writing geoprocessing in Python and SQL scripts
Experience working with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise mapping software and extensions
Associate’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree a plus
Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP), GEOINT Professional- Fundamentals (GPC-F), Geospatial Analysis Proficiency Level II (GA-II), or Cartography Proficiency Level II (CA-II) Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
