Geospatial Systems Engineer
The Opportunity:

Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications, makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution.
As a geospatial systems engineer, you’ll support a federal client with managing the client’s mission critical ArcGIS Enterprise systems. You will support and lead a variety of analytical and developmental solutions to problems with moderate to high complexity. You will manage and administer ArcGIS Enterprise systems running on Windows and Linux and associated software components. You will work closely with the DevOps team to monitor, troubleshoot, and address issues for the proper functioning of the ArcGIS Enterprise system as well as issues presented by the users of the system. You will maintain and support regular updates for the client’s Enterprise geocode server and support users by crafting appropriate solutions for meeting user geocoding requirements. You will support the planning, development, and migration of content from one ArcGIS Enterprise deployment environment to other environments that may include ones running different operating systems.

You Have:
8+ years of experience working in a professional environment
4+ years of experience managing ArcGIS Enterprise or any of its component systems such as Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, Geocode Server, GeoEvent Server, and Notebook Server
4+ years of experience with ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Web AppBuilder, ArcGIS Experience Builder, and ArcGIS Pro
4+ years of experience with Python coding for GIS applications and analysis
DHS Suitability
Bachelor’s degree in CS, GIS, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Nice If You Have:?
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and web development libraries
Experience with RDBMS such as SQL query writing, including SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
Experience with broad systems administration on Windows and Linux
Esri IT Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
