That is why we need you, an experienced Action Officer who can analyze every aspect of your customer’s operations and provide high-quality support.
As part of our team, you’ll serve as an Action Officer to the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), helping conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. Work with world-class scientists and engineers to support the development of high-impact solutions to society’s most challenging health problems. Leverage technical expertise to provide strategic assessments of new technologies in support of senior ARPA-H decision-makers. Maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs, assisting with the management of current programs, and facilitating commercialization of successfully developed technologies. ?
As part of our team, you’ll serve as an Action Officer, helping clients to create and execute office processes and track and complete Agency and Office level actions. You will be responsible for managing incoming requirements, ensuring that the task guidance is clear, communicating to the team responsible for completing the task and tracking metrics. You will also be readily available to shift your focus to fulfill emerging client requests. Your attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, understanding of the client’s mission, and problem-solving will enable the mission’s success.
What You’ll Work On:
Track all office-level assignments and coordinate with the Agency Director’s Office Action Officer
Proactively identify blockers and work with Office leadership to develop strategies to minimize or mitigate those blockers
Work with Project Manager on strategy for accomplishing Office goals
Assist with briefing materials and documents
Track important milestones or actions
Prioritize work by considering its risk, importance, urgency, and potential business, organizational, and client implications
Interact with clients, government officials, and other executives in various sectors

You Have:
Experience in interacting and communicating with senior-level executives, including SES or GS-15
Experience with using Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to identify and manage client expectations, develop clear objectives and deadlines, and communicate with taskers on behalf of agency leadership
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with working in the front office in a government environment
Experience with U.S. government health organizations
Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks appropriately
Ability to manage multiple short- and long-term projects effectively
Ability to pay strict attention to details and diligent adherence to deadlines and deliverables
Possession of excellent organizational, project management, spelling, and grammar skills
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,100.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
