We are looking for experienced Systems Engineers to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer in a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience. This program delivers Enterprise Computing engineering services with modern technology solutions with that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. As a mission-focused Systems Engineer that solves problems on the program, you will be expected to: Recognize the issue(s), Identify the facts, Define additional data that would be helpful, Make assumptions as necessary, Determine alternative approaches, Evaluate alternatives, Make recommendations, Alter assumptions and rework solutions, and Reflect on lessons learned.
Do you enjoy working on a small team and working with great people? We are a small team and are looking for a Windows Sustainment Engineer to deliver a full range of server and desktop services. You would be responsible for providing problem resolution, supporting existing infrastructure services, and integrating new capabilities within the scope of the required skills. If you enjoy small teams and can work independently, and possess an aptitude for getting things done, this may be the job for you.
We are in the need for a engineer who will:
Engineer, support, and troubleshoot Windows 1 and up desktop operating systems, including establishing new build and deployment methods for Windows workstations
Engineer, support, and troubleshoot MS Active Directory and Group Policy
Engineer, support, and troubleshoot McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, including utilization for reporting, device control, and patching of antivirus engine and DAT files
Support and troubleshoot Windows Server 216 technologies to include file, print, DNS, and DHCP
Perform application delivery and patching capabilities using a combination of Microsoft WSUS and PDQ Deploy products
Review vulnerability information as reported by Rapid7 and identify appropriate mitigations, including test and validation of such changes
Create processes to automate task and configuration items using PowerShell
Support and troubleshoot issues involving desktop applications including the MS Outlook suite of products (including Outlook) and classification management tools
Document all new changes introduced to the systems and keep existing documentation current
Will support Tier 1 and Tier 2 personnel with general user issues including public key infrastructure, application assistance, network troubleshooting, and other user assistance items as needed

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
We are looking for candidates must have at least 11 years’ experience plus a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree preferred. Other requirements are listed below:
Engineering experience supporting a Windows platform environment with the following core MS Windows platforms, services, and tools:
Windows 1 desktop operating system
Wndows 216 and 222 server operating systems
Active Directory
Group policy
Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)
DNS, DHCP
McAfeee ePolicy Orchestrator (EPO)
MS PowerShell scripting
Strong verbal communication and documentation skills
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Basic hardware knowledge including disk formatting and driver installation
Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK)
Windows Pre-Installation Environment (WinPE)
MS Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP)
