This posting is for candidates interested in a technical internship at BAE Systems.

As a CNC Machine Operator Intern, you will assist Machine Operators in machining parts by setting up programs and operating the CNC (computer numerical control) machine.
The intern will assist in set-up of the machine, use gauging equipment, and help to properly interpret results, as well as assist to change out the machine for tooling changes.
Responsibilities of the Machine Shop Intern can include:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings or specifications for assignments.
Set up and operate equipment such as lathes, power mills, drills and milling machines to produce nonstandard metal parts and equipment.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Currently enrolled and working towards a Technical or Trade School degree/certification related to CNC Machining.
