CENTRA Technology Inc. (an Amentum company) is a leading provider of engineering, scientific, and program management support services.    We are at the forefront of breakthrough technology development and demonstration programs in multiple areas, including hypersonics, unmanned air vehicle and autonomous systems, advanced sensors, propulsion, aircraft and space science systems.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Program Management Support Specialist (PMSS) based in the DC/Maryland/Northern Virginia area. The PMSS will provide a full range of general support services to the Program Management Office (PMO) . This position includes some telework, however the selected candidate will be expected to report to our Ballston, VA office approximately 1-2 days per week. In office presence requirements may be higher during training and surge periods. Candidates should be self-starters, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assist with Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders to ensure invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner
Liaise with Task Leads to provide administrative support with subcontracts administration
Liaise with various Corporate functional POCs as required
Provide onboarding and offboarding support as required (On both the Corporate and Customer sides)
Research and obtain information for routine reports and data requests
Serves as primary point of contact for managing and maintaining team communications, email distribution lists, calendar
Managing/maintaining the MS Teams channel
Draft Program Communications
Serve as a liaison between hiring managers and recruitment
Review resumes and provides recommendations
Assist with meetings (scheduling, setup, notetaking etc. )



Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of administrative experience in an office setting
Additional experience may be considered in lieu of education
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize multiple on-going projects
Comfortable navigating/mapping new processes
Proficient in use of Microsoft Suite/Office (MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint etc. )



Prior experience in Government contracting
Familiarity with data management systems like Costpoint
Prior experience with OnBase
Prior project management support experience a plus
Prior technical experience and/or understanding of scientific/engineering terminology
Secret clearance preferred
