Financial Management Analyst


Amentum is seeking a Financial Management Analyst that shall provide a variety of resource management support including, but not limited to the following specific tasks below.

Duties and



Develops, implements, and/or maintains one or a combination of accounting systems.
Uses accounting and financial procedures in resolving problems and preparing recommendations for management based on the financial results of programs.
He/She shall be responsible for analyzing current and past budgets, preparing, and justifying budget requests, and allocating funds according to spending priorities.
Individuals in these roles analyze accounting records to determine financial resources required to implement programs and submits recommendations for budget allocations recommend approval or disapproval of requests for funds and advise staff on cost analysis and fiscal allocations.
Duties may also include consolidating the budget estimates of several organizational units and preparing a unitary budget itemizing production cost, for consideration and action by upper echelons of management.

Desired qualifications:

He/She shall have experience in creating, querying, and altering relational databases.
He/She shall have experience with three (3) or more analytical tools, to include the financial control features of Microsoft Office, Tableau, Oracle, Momentum Financials and other presentation and data visualization software.



He/She shall possess the range of expertise and skills required to support ADNI/Chief Financial Officer budget planning, formulation, and execution data analysis and operations.
Personnel shall demonstrate capabilities and skills in expertise in performing detailed data analysis.
Strong knowledge of ODNI resident budget and accounting data within the Intelligence Resource and Information System.
Familiarity with financial management processes of various IC programs.
Experience with unique IC budget and execution systems; and
Possession of necessary functional and technical skills to formulate analytical solutions.
Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years of equivalent, related work experience (if equivalent, related work experience is substituted for the bachelor’s degree, then the experience is addition to the five (5) years of work experience required below of any other required experience listed under the position description) .
A minimum of five (5) years of experience working with the Intelligence Community within the financial management discipline, with at least three (3) years of experience as a financial management analyst.
TS/SCI active clearance with polygraph is required.

Required Certifications:

The candidate must possess at a minimum one (1) or more of the following certifications:

Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) .
Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) .
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) .
Program Management Professional (PMP) ; or
Similar professional society certifications in financial management.
