Configuration Management (CM) /Service Engineer
Amentum is seeking a Service Engineer with experience in Configuration Management (CM) to support the US Government on a Marines Weapon System.
A successful applicant will:
Manage and regulate change control on configuration items (CI)
Work in close coordination with the customer, Project Managers, and other service area representatives to coordinate design and implementation efforts.
Serve as a project expert and provide expert-level technical contributions to facilitate successful project completion
Be able to configure, install, and test systems both in a lab environment and a production environment.
Communicate activity status to the PM.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
10 years of previous experience on Marine Weapon Systems or other Military/DOD systems.
Previous experience in Configuration Management.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
The ability to work as a team member, and with minimal oversight.
