Responsibilities
Represent NSA to corporate America and engage with the executive boardrooms of industry partners. Manage a dynamic Agency-level strategy to engage with industry. Develop long-term strategic and corporate views of partnerships and provide expert independent advice and guidance to organizational managers on various technical issues. In addition, we’re also seeking a candidate who can maintain cognizance of equities relating to the Agency’s core missions and represent those equities in corporate strategies. Lastly, a candidate whom has the ability to team with Intelligence Community partners, DoD, other federal agencies, and foreign partners on strategic goals with IT industry in order to coordinate objectives, and advance missions and/or national interests; accomplish ad hoc research, reports and assignments relating to their area of expertise.
Corporate Alliance Manager Responsibilities include:
– Serving as the primary focal point to engage and communicate with Industry partners
– Representing the Agency in interactions with outside customers, DoD, Congressional representatives, foreign partners, or the general public
– Representing the Agency or its subordinate organizations to customers, suppliers, and stakeholders
– Establishing performance expectations, goals, objectives, or milestones for individuals, teams, or projects
– Applying program management principles, techniques, services, and practices to effectively achieve domestic/international program goals and objectives
– Develop a comprehensive understanding of associate technology stack(s) and/or cybersecurity threat landscape.
– Identifying performance outcomes and establishing metrics to assess the impact (e.g., return on investment) of programs and initiatives
– Attending conferences and communicating with people in a particular technical field to stay apprised of new technologies and information
– Incorporate intelligence community and organizations’ vision, mission, and strategic objectives into programs and practices
– Identifying and implementing new opportunities, while managing risk
– Evaluating, overseeing, directing, and/or managing proposals and programs
Job Summary
Cryptologic Alliance Managers perform a variety of liaison roles for both internal (NSA/CSS) and external (government, industry, and academic partners) customers, as well as suppliers, stakeholders, and the general public. Leverage knowledge of NSA /CSS mission, products, programs, processes and policy to effectively manage internal and external relationships. Specific duties of individual positions vary considerably.
Qualifications
The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position.
Degree in Communication, Marketing, Public Affairs, or Political Science is preferred, although a degree in any field is acceptable.
Relevant experience must include knowledge of technical products and customer operations in a subject matter related to the position in which the candidate is applying. Experience within the IC or DoD is preferred.
SENIOR:
Entry is with a Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 2 years of relevant experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 10 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree plus 8 years of relevant experience may be considered.
EXPERT:
Entry is with a Bachelor’s degree plus 9 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 5 years of relevant experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 13 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree plus 11 years of relevant experience may be considered.

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
Salary offers are based on candidates’ education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Salary ranges vary by location and work level. This position is hiring for Maryland.
Salary Range: $112,015 – $183,500 (Senior to Expert)
On-the job training, Internal NSA courses, and external training will be made available based on the need and experience of the selectee.
This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday, with basic 8hr/day work requirements between 0600 to 1800 hrs (flexible).
